Great Product I've used these now in a number of settings without a single issue. They work flawlessly every time. To set the scene, I rarely shoot in the same place twice and never once had a failure or problem with reception. I use these in conjunction with 580 & 430 speedlights and have added more receivers so that I can have a few more creative options with my lighting. Superb Item I have had this item about a month. I use it with a Nikon D80 and a Nikon SB-25 strobe Flash. The item fire 10 out 10 times at 10ft - 60ft. I figured that would be enough for me, plus my batteries were low in my flash. I have had nothing but a great experience with this item since I purchased it. Its small, light, and very reliable. Great if you don't move your camera and shoot in 12x12 box with no obstructions I bought these because I thought it was ridiculous to drop 400 bucks for two simple radio transceivers.

I was excited about the little Elinchroms... but like a good boyscout I rented two pocketwizards 'just in case' on my way to the shoot.

I usually shoot in kitchens and the elinchrom couldn't hang. The powerpack was on the ground, and if there was anything obstructing a direct signal like a stack of plates, a table, etc. the flash wouldn't fire. If I held the camera for a vertical... –Efrom Amazon.com
