HP CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS WICKED BAD I PURCHASED THIS PRINTER AND IT WOULD NOT INITIALZE INK,I CALLED HP SUPPORT AND WAS TOLD TO GET A LINT FREE CLOTH AND A BOTTLE OF WATER (NOT TAP WATER)AND TO WIPE THE CONTACTS ON THE CARTRIDGES,I DID IT STILL WOULD NOT INITIALIZE I TOLD THE AGENT THAT IT WOULD NOT INITILIZE PERHAPS INK WAS BAD IF THEY COULD REPLACE THE INK ,HE TOLD ME THAT THE INK THAT COMES WITH NEW PRINTERS IS A SPECIAL INITIZING INK AND COULD NOT BE REPLACED AND THAT I SHOULD RETURN THE PRINTER AND GET A NEW PRINTER,I DID BUT... –D. Good with Linux After suffering through years with an old Epson Stylus 1200, with the ink cartridges constantly clogging and the paper feeder unable to reliably print five pages without jamming a wad of them through at once, I resolved I would never buy an Epson again. I bought this printer last week, and I should have done it years earlier: it feeds paper reliably, doesn't seem to eat ink (I have already printed a 55-page matte document with a lot of full-bleed photos), and is quite speedy.
